Hounds of Cuchulainn

Cú Chulainn was a warrior, hero and demigod in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology, as well as in Scottish and Manx folklore. He is believed to be the incarnation of the Irish god Lugh, who is also his father. His mother is the mortal Deichtine, sister of king Conchobar mac Nessa. Besides the desire to draw and paint knots my hope was to manifest strength and the lack of fear.
Cú Chulainn is said to have died in battle, binding himself to a standing stone so he could die on his feet. It made me also see standing stones in a more magical and powerful light. He later became an icon for the Irish.
